But if you’re busy (or lazy, like me) and you don’t want to have to bother with blocking domains or don’t want to mess with .htaccess there are a number of plugins that you can use.
For WordPress users, there’s Referrer Bouncer which bills itself as a “class of upload-activate-and-forget Plugins”. It’s a great plugin and is really to install. But it only works for your WordPress content so if you want to protect non-Wordpress pages you’re out of luck with this plugin.
